How to obtain a Schengen visa

Visa-applicants from the areas Wellington, Wairarapa, Manawatu, Taranaki, Hawkes Bay, Taupo District, Wanganui, Nelson, Buller and Marlborough should appear in person at the Royal Netherlands Embassy, Investment House, 10th floor, Cnr Ballance and Featherston Streets in Wellington in order to apply for visa.

Visa-applicants from the following countries are also to apply in person at the Royal Netherlands Embassy at Wellington: American Samoa, Pitcairn Islands, Tuvalu, Niue, Tokelau, Cook Islands, Kiribati, Wallis and Futuna.

Visa-applicants from the areas Auckland, Bay of plenty, Northland and Waikato are also allowed to apply in person at the Consulate of the Netherlands at Auckland, 57 Symonds Street, Auckland 1.

Visa-applicants from the areas Canterbury, Otago, Southland and West Coast are also allowed to apply in person at the Consulate of the Netherlands at Christchurch, 2nd Floor, Room A 137 Hereford Street, Christchurch

Visa-applicants from the following countries are also allowed to apply in person at the respective Dutch consulates:

Tahiti - the Consulate of the Netherlands, Fare Ute, B.P. 2804, Papeete
Kingdom of Tonga - the Consulate of the Netherlands, FWC Building, Salote Road, Fasi-Moe-Afi, PO Box 29, NUKU'ALOFA
Samoa - the Consulate of the Netherlands, John Williams Concregational Christian Church Building, 4th floor, Beach Road, Apia
New Caledonia - the Consulate of the Netherlands, 33 Rue Sebastopol, B.P. 370, 98845 NOUMEA CEDEX

Visa-applicants for a short stay in the Schengen-States up to three (3) months residing in Fiji are to apply in person at the Consulate of France at Suva.
