Further to a previous announcement I advise that a memorial service was held in The Netherlands on Saturday 12 December 2009 for the Ambassador of the Kingdom of the Netherlands to New Zealand, H.E. Annelies Boogaerdt, who passed away in Wellington on 15 November 2009.

I would like to take this opportunity to thank you, also on behalf of the family of Ambassador Boogaerdt, for all the support, flowers and messages of sympathy the Embassy received, all of which were shared with the family. Both the family of Ambassador Boogaerdt and the Embassy staff are truly grateful for your kind thoughts.
